    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: September 22, 2026

    1) Who we are

Leadomator LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the controller for personal data processed via the ScrapeTheMap website, account portal, licensing/checkout, support, and optional diagnostics from our desktop app. Contact us.

    2) What this Policy covers

The ScrapeTheMap app runs locally on your device. By default, it does not send your extracted target data to us. This Policy explains what we collect around our website, licensing, payments, support, and optional diagnostics.

    3) Data we collect

    • Account & Licensing: name (if provided), email, license key/hash, product/plan, activation status, and events related to license validity.
    • Purchases: handled by Stripe. We receive payment status, amount, currency, last four of card (from Stripe), and invoice metadata. We do not store full card numbers.
    • Website analytics and advertising: page views (Umami) and affiliate or ad measurement (AWIN, PushLap, Google Tag Manager). In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland these run only after you consent. Elsewhere they run until you opt out.
    • Support: messages you send us and any files/logs you attach. Please remove sensitive content before sending.
    • Optional Diagnostics (App): if enabled in settings, crash reports and technical telemetry (OS/version, error codes, performance counters). These are not intended to include page contents or scraped payloads.
    • Communications: your preferences and email engagement (e.g., receipt of license emails).

    4) Why we use it (purposes & legal bases)

    • Provide the service / perform a contract: licensing, updates, customer support, purchases, account management.
    • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, product analytics (aggregate), measuring feature adoption, improving stability.
    • Consent (EEA, UK, and Switzerland): optional analytics and advertising cookies only after you accept. You can withdraw that choice on Your Privacy Choices. United States and other regions: those tools may run until you opt out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
    • Legal obligations: tax, accounting, law-enforcement requests where applicable.

    5) Retention

We keep account, licensing, and purchase records for as long as you have an active license and as required by law (typically 6–10 years for tax). Support tickets are retained for up to 24 months. Optional diagnostics are kept no longer than 12 months in aggregate form. We delete or anonymize when no longer needed.

    6) How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. We do share identifiers with affiliate and advertising partners — AWIN, PushLap, and Google Tag Manager tags used for that measurement — so they can attribute referrals. In the United States this sharing stays on until you opt out or send Global Privacy Control. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland it stays off until you consent. Change this on Your Privacy Choices. We also use service providers who process data for us under contract: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, hosting, and error reporting (if enabled).

    7) International transfers

Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and limit access to what’s necessary.

    8) Cookies & similar tech

Essential cookies are always on. Optional analytics and advertising tools follow two rules. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland they stay off until you accept. In the United States and elsewhere they stay on until you opt out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Manage this on Your Privacy Choices.

    • NEXT_LOCALE — stores your language for this site. Session cookie. Essential.
    • stm_privacy — stores your privacy choices for about 1 year. Essential.
    • stm_regime — stores whether this browser is under the US or EEA/UK/Switzerland rules, for about 1 day. Essential.
    • Umami (cloud.umami.is) — cookieless page analytics. The script loads only when analytics is allowed. Analytics.
    • awc — AWIN affiliate click id, about 1 year, HTTP-only. Set only when advertising is allowed. Advertising.
    • AWIN — MasterTag and Google Tag Manager (GTM-NRW43KMH) tags that call AWIN, plus cookies whose names start with _aw_. Advertising.
    • PushLap — affiliate cookies ending in _affiliate_ref and _affiliate_referral, and the same keys in local storage. Advertising.

    9) Your rights

To exercise rights, contact us. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

    • Access, rectification, deletion, portability, restriction, objection (where applicable).
    • Withdraw consent at any time for analytics/diagnostics without affecting prior lawful processing.
    • EEA/UK residents: you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
    • California (CPRA): rights to know, delete, and correct personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. We do share identifiers for affiliate and advertising measurement, as described above, until you opt out. Global Privacy Control is treated as that opt-out. Use Your Privacy Choices.

    10) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risks (encryption in transit, access controls, least privilege). No method is 100% secure; please keep your devices, license keys, and accounts safe.

    11) Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

    12) App specifics & your responsibilities

The desktop app is designed to run locally. If you enable diagnostics or send us logs/screens, do not include sensitive content or any scraped payloads from third-party sites. You are responsible for your own compliance with site terms and data-protection laws when using the app.

    13) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Please check back periodically.

    14) Contact
